Electrical / Solar Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical / Solar Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and solar energy systems. The role requires strong technical competence, safety awareness, and professionalism when working on client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and related electrical components
• Carry out electrical wiring, panel installations, and system commissioning
• Diagnose and repair faults in solar and electrical systems
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and performance checks
• Ensure all work complies with electrical safety regulations
• Complete job reports, service records, and installation documentation accurately
• Communicate professionally with clients on-site
• Work flexibly across multiple sites and projects as required

Desirable Skills

• Solar installation certification or technical training
• Experience with residential and commercial solar installations
• Valid driver's licence

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum OND / HND in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as an electrical or solar technician
• Good understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical wiring
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to communicate clearly in spoken English
• Professional attitude, reliability, and teamwork skills
