Procurement & Logistics Officer

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement & Logistics Officer to manage procurement activities, coordinate logistics, and ensure the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services to support our renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services needed for projects
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and delivery of goods to project sites
• Track shipments, manage inventory, and update procurement records
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies
• Assist in negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Communicate with internal teams to understand procurement needs
• Support documentation, reporting, and filing related to procurement

Desirable (Added Advantage)

• Experience with logistics coordination or procurement software
• Knowledge of renewable energy or construction project supply chains
• Valid driver's licence

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum OND / HND / BSc in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
• Basic understanding of procurement and logistics operations
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English
• Professional attitude and ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic office applications
